• Conscious Career Planning® Program: This program is designed to help individuals assess their current career situation and identify possible new employment directions that would lead to greater long-term success and satisfaction. Our pragmatic methodology goes well beyond the blind idealism of many books and assessment tools, introducing individuals instead to a practical plan they can follow to help clarify their career priorities and discover where their skills, passions, and experience best "plug in" to today's specialized, rapidly-changing job market.
• Job Search PhD® Private Program: This customized coaching program is ideal for those professionals at the executive level or who are ready to invest in a serious regimen of individual career analysis and job hunting support. Built around eight hours of highly targeted coaching assistance, as well as a suite of unique job hunting resources we've developed, this program is a professional investment that provides career-minded individuals with invaluable objective feedback about their current marketability--and the steps necessary to generate an increased stream of quality interviews.
• Resume Optimization® Program: This program concentrates on helping job candidates get their "written packaging" in order and increase the number of interviews their job search documents are able to generate. Clients purchasing this package of services receive a thorough resume consultatation and rewrite, combined with a detailed cover letter edit and access to a suite of additional job hunting resources to enhance their search efforts.
Each month, we host a number of highly focused group workshops and webinars to provide individuals with specific, targeted advice in key areas related to career transition. • LinkedIn Webinar for FENG Members (Private)

Career Horizons is excited to be hosting this private two-hour LinkedIn webinar for members of FENG (the Financial Executives Networking Group) to assist them in leveraging the LinkedIn networking website to its full potential! The agenda for the training will be highly similar to that of our standard Lassoing LinkedIn session, described below, but will be customized to the needs of senior-level financial professionals and will draw upon case studies and examples directly relevant to this particular audience.
Additionally, $25 of the registration fee will be donated back to FENG to support the organization's terrific set of ongoing programs and publications. Instructions and passcodes for logging into the webinar will be sent to each participant following their successful registration!
• Lassoing LinkedIn Webinar
Next Class: Wed, 3/17, 6-8pm PST; Cost:$75
Despite a flood of imitators, nobody has yet invented a more powerful website for facilitating career and business networking success than LinkedIn.com. And yet, many people still haven't heard of this revolutionary networking tool -- or may have joined the site a while back, without really understanding how to harness its full potential.
In light of these realities, Career Horizons facilitates a monthly web-based training session dedicated to getting people up and running successfully on the LinkedIn system. This two-hour class includes detailed instruction on how to optimize your LinkedIn profile, how to effectively build connections, and how to take full advantage of the People, Jobs, Answers, and Companies pages of the site. It also covers a number of important pointers regarding system etiquette that new users often violate, inadvertently.
The cost for this class is $75 and following completion of the webinar, all participants receive a full copy of the presentation materials, which include numerous additional networking scripts and case studies that can help you master the site and learn to use it like a pro!
• Job Search PhD® Workshop
Next Class: Sat, 3/20, 8am-Noon; Cost:$250
Are you looking to run the most effective possible job search, right out of the gate? Or have you been looking around for a while, on your own, without good results?
In this high-intensity job hunting class, we cut through the confusion and train professionals exactly how to plan, execute, and manage a successful job search in today's marketplace. In addition to providing key tips on resume development and effective networking, we supply each attendee with a customized copy of our one-of-a-kind Job Search PhD® Spreadsheet tool containing hundreds of useful links, resources, and company/recruiter listings relevant to the Puget Sound market.
The cost for this 4-hour session is $250 and each class is limited to a maximum of six participants in order to ensure a high-quality learning experience. You'll walk away with a crystal-clear job search action plan and a suite of practical, proven resources, based on our 15 years of experience coaching Puget Sound residents through the unique challenges of the job hunting process!
